HARRISBURG, PA— In response to Governor Wolf's decision to use his line item veto power to block the Republican legislature's irresponsible budget cuts, while directing emergency funding to our schools and human service departments, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Marcel L. HARRISBURG, PA— With only two days until Christmas, House Republicans are planning to leave town without delivering much-needed funding to Pennsylvania's schools and human service agencies—only a day after a crucial vote positioned the budget framework for final passage to send to the Governor's desk.

"Speaker Turzai and Leader Reed have failed again," said Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chair Marcel L. Groen. "Failed to lead, failed to deliver on the promise to educate our children, and failed to pass a budget for the people of Pennsylvania."
